Spoilers ahead!

We catch up with River and Sid after last week’s tragic episode. The Slow Horses are scattered, and I’m getting increasingly nervous about those hiding out at the safe house. They’re practically sitting ducks, and Frank Harkness is closing in. A few homemade petrol bombs aren’t exactly reassuring!

Meanwhile, Jackson Lamb is digging into the suspicious relationship between Diana Taverner and media mogul Damien Cantor. And the more he uncovers, the more tangled this Russian conspiracy becomes.

Poor Sid Baker! After barely surviving an assassination attempt, she discovers that Taverner has agreed to hand her over to the Russians to cover up an off-the-books operation. So much for looking after your own agents! But River Cartwright isn’t about to let that happen. His desperate rescue attempt turns into a chaotic chase, complete with a spectacular escape and a kiss!

And that River and Sid kiss?!

“She really fancies me,” River says. No shit, Sherlock! I think we all fancy you, River! LOL! But the episode ends with River surrounded by armed agents while Sid makes a run for it.

And back at the safe house, Harkness is getting dangerously close. My biggest concern? The Slow Horses have no idea just how vulnerable they are. And with Taverner playing both sides, who can they possibly trust?

What did you think of that kiss? And does anyone else have a terrible feeling about what’s coming for the gang at the safe house?

Questions I’m Still Asking

  • How safe is that safe house, really? A few homemade petrol bombs aren’t exactly reassuring, especially with Frank Harkness closing in!
  • Can Diana Taverner survive the pressure coming from every direction, or is her carefully constructed world finally falling apart?
  • What exactly is Damien Cantor’s connection to the Russians, and how much does Peter know?
  • Can River and Sid trust anyone at the Park anymore?
  • And those increasingly long looks between River and Sid? Are we finally getting somewhere with these two?

Most importantly, will all our Slow Horses make it out of this mess alive? Because I’m getting seriously worried. One more episode to go!
