Come one, come all: Seaport Village invites spectators of all ages to experience an entertainment-filled weekend at the 12th Annual Spring Busker Festival. Attendees will be shocked and awed by contortionists, stuntmen, circus troupes and comedians from around the globe on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, 2018. The free festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. each day, bringing incredible energy and unforgettable acts to San Diego’s historic waterfront.

Popular across the globe, buskers are public street performers known for their unusual and fascinating acts. The Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival is the only festival of its kind in California, and one of only a few in the U.S. While hundreds of performers from across the world apply, only nine acts were selected this year to perform for a chance to win the coveted People’s Choice Award.

From sword swallowers to pogo stickers and comedic circus acts, the full performer lineup can be found below:

Alléz OOOPS!: A world-class comedy variety act, this amazing duo from New York waltz on wine bottles, skip on sky-high stilts and perform jaw-dropping circus stunts.

Bri Crabtree: Ropes, parasols, hats and more! You name it, Bri Crabtree can juggle it. This quirky character from San Francisco keeps audiences on their feet and wondering what’s next.

Circus Mafia: This incredible local circus troupe performs a variety of amazing feats including juggling, rolla bolla, sideshow acts, hula hoops and fire.

Dango: A San Diego nativeDango’s one-man circus show features chair stacking, rolla bolla, balancing acts and comedy.

Lynx Variety Show: A jack-of-all-trades, this show from the Bay Area features a variety of tricks including mystifying magic, sword-swallowing and sideshow stunts that will leave audiences hypnotized.

Sam Malcom: A perfect combination of stand-up comedy and world-class juggling skills, this entertaining street show from Colorado is fun for the whole family.

Sara Kunz: Coming from Massachusetts, Sara’s “Flyin’ Hawaiian’ hula hoop show incorporates acrobatics, contortion, manipulation and an impressive finale featuring a 10-foot “coconut tree” unicycle and hula hoop stunt.

The Greg Frisbee Show: Fire juggling, chicken tossing and tons of comedy highlight Greg Frisbee’s one-of-a-kind routine. Greg has performed in all 50 states and 15 countries around the world while working to perfect this cutting edge show.

Wacky Chad: Wacky Chad lives up to his name with extreme pogo stick stunts, balancing acts and laugh-out-loud comedy. This two-time America’s Got Talent competitor is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

Come nightfall, performers will let loose for Buskers After Dark on Saturday, March 3 from 7 to 10 p.m. Catered toward the 18+ crowd, this untamed show will feature a live DJ, food and drink specials, adult humor and electrifying performances. See the full line up here.

In addition to the spectacular talent listed above, festival-goers can enjoy live entertainment at Seaport’s sister property, The Headquarters at Seaport. On Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 noted artist Kelsey Montague – whose work has been featured in The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Buzzfeed, and MTV – will create a live interactive mural in the center courtyard. Guests can also enjoy a live DJ set with Loren Murillo from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and festive live music with the Clay Colton Band from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Parking is available in the Seaport Village lots, where guests pay $5 for the first two hours with validation and $3 for every 30 minutes thereafter. In addition, a complimentary shuttle will be provided from Hilton Hotel Bayfront parking lot located on Park Blvd. Parking is $10 for the day and shuttles run every 15 minutes from 11:30 to 6:30 p.m. Additionally, Seaport Village is easily accessible on Metropolitan Transit System Trolley, via the Seaport Village stop on the Green Line.
